2012 Grad Fest - April 18 & 19
Come to the 2012 Grad Fest on the Main Quad
Caps and gowns are a necessity for your graduation.
Packages including gown, caps and tassel will be available for purchase.
You'll also find all the extras to make your graduation day special including:

- Pictures
All regalia and memorabilia will also be available in the bookstore after Grad Fest
Honors Students - Congratulations on your Accomplishment!
Your Honors achievement of a 3.50 - 4.00 GPA is recognized at the commencement ceremony by wearing an Honors Cord and Tassel:
- Associate Degree Honors, 3.5 - 4.0 GPA - Gold Tassel and Gold Cord
- Certificate of Achievement Honors, 3.5 - 4.0 GPA - White Tassel and White Cord
Honors students receive a special message on their graduation invitation indicating that they are receiving honors. Students must take their invitation to the Student Affairs Office (H-500) in order to purchase their Honors Cord ($10).
Valedictorian
The highest academic status a student can obtain is that of a Valedictorian. This signifies a 4.00 overall grade point average for all academic coursework (see a counselor for details.) At the San Diego Mesa College Commencement Ceremony, Valedictorians are signified by the wearing of special blue commencement regalia. Students who are Valedictorians will receive special information regarding commencement from the campus President.
Friends and Family
Don't forget to invite your family and friends to your celebration. Announcements for the ceremony are also available in the Student Affairs Office (H-500). Admission to the ceremony is free.
