Overview
The Audiovisual Services Department provides equipment, materials, and services to students, faculty, and staff at Mesa College.
Different services are available to faculty/staff and students, so be sure to check the appropriate menu on the AV homepage.
The department is located on the fourth floor of the Learning Resources Center. The telephone number is (619) 388-2690, and it is open the same hours as the library.
Services Overview
A broad range of equipment is provided for the campus community. There are 9 booths with video playback equipment, audiocassette players, video editing, and other equipment. Video cameras are available for use as well. It also has LCD projectors, computers, and DVD/VCR players for classroom use. In addition, it services audiovisual installations across the campus, including the new G Building.
Color copy services, including prints, transparencies, posters, and flyers are provided here. Graphics and video production services are available to faculty and staff. Video services include satellite downloads for teleconferencing.
A large collection of videocassettes, along with DVDs and laser disks are located here. Access to the Community College Consortium video collection is coordinated through this department as well.
