Women Athletes of the Week 2011

March 21, 2001- Honorable Mention went to Kelsey McGowan, a sophomore catcher from Point Loma High, went 3-for-4 with a triple in Mesa's 8-7 loss to Imperial Valley. She's hitting .389 with 24 RBIs (.458 in conference).

March 28, 2011- Honorable Mention went to Dominique Dinner, a freshman first baseman from Monterey High School and a transfer from San Diego State University, helped the Olympians go 3-1 for the week. Her walk-off home run in the seventh inning beat Glendale 8-7. The shot was estimated at 230 feet-plus.

APRIL 11, 2011- Honorable Mention went to Trisha Kanie, a freshman from Clairemont High, was 3-for-4 in an 8-0 win over Imperial Valley and vs. SD City. She had a sacrifice, was hit by a pitch and scored twice.
